• Jet Lag

Jet lag occurs because crossing multiple time zones puts your internal clock or circadian rhythms, which regulate your sleep-wake cycle, out of sync with the time in your new locale. Even more when fatigue produced by long trips and break from daily life routine are added to it. This way, jet-lag produce fatigue, headhaches, general feeling of not being well, irritability, sleep, decomposing etc.

Dietary supplements such as melatonin can help to resynchronise our body clock and reduce jet-lag symptoms. Its beneficial effect is obtained by a minimum intake of 0,5 mg, which must be taked before sleep (in case you must sleep in a plane) and a few days after our arrival.
