SYNERGY OF CONCENTRATES OF ORGANIC BLACK RADISH AND ARTICHOKE

Black radish (Raphanus sativus L. var niger) belongs to a large plant family: Brassicaceae —also known as Cruciferae—, a botanical family that includes a great number of genera and about 3,000 plant species, such as broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, red cabbage, cauliflower and turnip.

Artichoke (Cynara scolymus) is a herbaceous plant harvested in many places around the world and it is plentiful in the Mediterranean region. This plant is named by the characteristic color of its leaves, as cinara means ash-colored in Greek and Latin. It has attractive bluish flowers and its leaves can be pressed to obtain a kind of juice that, once concentrated and purified, is used to prepare extracts.
